The smart city
Because Al Buhaira Invest always fulfills its commitments, the study of allotment C was launched in June 2019 with the group of consultancies Urba plan, planaire and SCET Tunisia. The development of this 60ha allotment located next to La Perle du Lac should be smart city-oriented; that is, smart and connected city and buildings in a multimodal approach.
The structure of public spaces will address the necessity to improve climatic conditions (reducing urban heat-islands) by giving a more substantial place to : greenery – water (minimizing soil sealing) – optimized management of rain water and of irrigation necessities – choice of materials (albedo).
Improved climatic conditions, coupled with a judicious orientation of urban blocks will also improve comfort reduce the use mechanical cooling devices.
